HIGH PRIORITY COMMUNITY STRATEGY INITIATIVE: Social Services Network (SSN), Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association (Carefirst), and more than 20 other partners have come together to form the High Priority Communities Strategy program of South Markham. The goal of our program is to provide services to the communities that are disproportionately affected by COVID-19. To date, our program has reached 50,000+, swabbed 25,000+, vaccinated 25,000+, and provided wraparound support services to 1,300+.
As we enter into a new phase of the pandemic, we will need to refocus our efforts to include recovery initiatives such as Women’s Health and Mental Health. As such, our team will need to group to meet the needs of the program. Be a part of this year’s High Priority Communities Strategy program to aid in the response and recovery of Southeast Markham.
